TV Debut for Sheffield Clarets Flag

Almost 4 months to the day after the purchase and first outing for the Sheffield Clarets flag - Probably the only good thing about that day at Hillsborough - The flag got its first real piece of TV coverage.

It has already been on display at Hillsborough, Stamford Bridge, Oakwell and the Turf and could occasionally be seen in the background. The flag received full focus though (ITV - The Championship) after our victory at Bramall Lane and even acknowledgement from the commentator that it must be a great time to be Claret in Sheffield. Oh Yes it is!

Hopefully, the flag will be seen at many more grounds over the course of the season. Trips to the Keepmoat and White Hart Lane in the coming weeks are both prime candidates for the flag to be on display ( and hopefully on screen).

Sheffield Clarets - A transpennine oxymoron!

This article was written after our trip to SUFC but has taken me until now to put it online. Unfortunately, the flag could not be displayed at the Keepmoat - but this was due to the excellent away following leaving no spare seats!! I am awaiting confirmation from Spurs - But I am confident that they will have a space for us to display it!
