Stock signed a two-year deal for an undisclosed fee in August 2012.

Bournemouth was Stock's first professional club but he left in early 2006 to join Preston following a loan spell at Deepdale in January 2006. The transfer fee was reported to be 125,000. His opportunities at the club were limited though and in September 2006 he joined Doncaster Rovers on loan before making the move permanent in January 2007 for 150,000.

Stock's contract was not renewed in Summer 2014 and he was free to leave. Brian Stock spent two-seasons at Turf Moor after joining on a free transfer from Doncaster Rovers. The 32-year-old midfielder made a total of 42 appearances for the club. His last match for the Clarets was as a substitute when he came on in the 1-1 draw at Watford in 2014.
