Junior Stanislas signed for Burnley on the last day of the Summer 2011 transfer window after agreeing a three-year deal for an undisclosed fee.

Stanislas is a product of West Ham`s youth team having joined them at the age of ten. He had been playing youth and regular reserve team football for West Ham before joining League One side Southend United for six weeks on loan in 2008. Stanislas scored a brace on his league debut including a spectacular free kick, against Luton Town in the FA Cup second round on 29 November 2008

He went on to made his first team and Premier league debut for West Ham in March 2009 having since played over 40 games for the Hammers. Stanislas signed a new long-term four-and-a-half year`s contract in April 2009 committing him to the club until the summer of 2013. The London born winger is also half-St Lucian but has instead decided to play for England at international level and to date has picked up caps at England U19, U20 and U21 level.

At the end of the 2013/14 season following promotion to the top flight, Stanislas was offered new terms but he declined instead staying in the Championship after joining Bournemouth and former boss Eddie Howe in June 2014. He signed a three year deal for an undisclosed fee
