Signed on loan from Chelsea in February 2010 returning in May 2010 after completing his loan deal.

Returned to Turf Moor on a season-long loan on the 12th August 2010.

On 8 August 2010 Chelsea had said that they would allow Cork to leave the club and were looking for offers of around 2 millon. It is thought this loan deal with give Burnley the option to sign him permanently at the end of 2010-11.

Returned to Chelsea in May 2011
