Elliott signed a three year deal at the club when his contract at Dean Court ran out in 2005. He came to Turf Moor along with fellow Bournemouth players Garreth O'Connor and John Spicer.

Wado of course will always be remembered for the goal he scored against Sheffield United in the Wembley Play-Offs final in May 2009. The 1-0 victory ensured he would be our Wembley hero and become a legend! Very fitting after ensuring the club would be promoted to the Premier League for the first time in its history and play in the top flight for the first time in 33 years!

He was ransferred to Birmingham for an undisclosed fee on the last day, indeed last 10 minutes or so of the Summer 2011 transfer window. He agreed a two-year contract with the Blues.
