Star player at Burnley and leading striker. Upset a lot of fans by his attitude over his transfer to Charlton on 19 Jan 2008 for 1.5 million (add-ons up to 2 million). He was seduced by 'Double Your Money' salaries and Owen Coyle was forced into a corner when the former Sunderland player told the gaffer he couldnt wear the Clarets shirt with pride in the last match against Coventry away on the Saturday the weekend he signed for the Addicks.

His former clubs were Leeds, Nottingham Forest, Bradford City, Sheffield United and Sunderland prior to coming to Turf Moor in the transfer window in the summer of 2006 for around 750,000.
