Vital Report - Ipswich 2-0 Burnley
Burnley's Championship season continued with a first defeat in the league at Portman Road against Ipswich on Tuesday.
This win, two-nil, not only meant that Dyche saw his team beaten for the first time in the league this season - with the Clarets yet to taste victory - it meant McCarthy's side top the table at the moment.
Ipswich's two-goals in give second half minutes through Sears and McGoldrick were enough for the Tractor boys.

Sears, who looks to be coming into his own after early promise with West Ham saw him drop down to Colchester in League 1 before getting his move to Ipswich last term, forced a first half save out of Heaton.
Burnley could have been ahead at the break, Kightly followed up his own effort against teammate Vossen, to strike the post with his follow up whereas Vossen himself forced a safe from Ipswich 'keeper Bialkowski.
The Tractors boys forced the breakthrough though at the midway point of the second half with Sears (66) steering home a Pitman cross with McGoldrick (71) heading home a Maitland-Niles corner minutes later.
