Burnley 0-1 Arsenal (Prem)
Once again Burnley kept it tight but our struggles in front of goal continued with a failure to breakthrough costing us as Arsenal won for an eighth Premier League game in a row to go away from the live Sky Sports game with the points.
Arsenal's early goal was enough to see them to a one-nil win at Turf Moor and see us miss a chance, albeit one against a real in-form side that could still challenge for the title - even if it's unlikely, chance to move out of the bottom three.
We remain second-bottom in the league but are just two points from safety with few points separating some four or five sides at the bottom.
Losing the ball on half way, as Shackell had when he gave it away to Coquelin gave Arsenal the chance to break. Sanchez and Ozil saw efforts blocked but Ramsey (12) forced the ball home at the third attempt.
We huffed and puffed and kept going throughout, as we always do, and could have got at least a point if it wasn't for Arsenal 'keeper Ospina, who made a couple of good saves to deny Barnes firstly and then a second half freekick from Trippier.
Arsenal would have sealed it if Cazorla's freekick hadn't gone just over as we stayed in the game but couldn't ask enough questions.
Boyd, as good a signing as he's been and one that could make all the difference - ironically at the cost of his former club Hull at the end of the season, was again guilty of missing a chance to give us something when he made a hash of his effort with us unable to get back into the game.
