The sides around us mostly won over the Easter weekend so we needed to get something against Spurs at Turf Moor on Sunday, which we did from a nil-nil draw in the live Sky Sports games, but ideally we could have done with more of course but we'll take this!

It's still a good point, which at the time left us in the bottom three on goal-difference - but Sunderland later won, against a good side but you could argue that the best chances had come our way and a failure to take them is frustrating....

The Spurs threat was minimal with the better of the chances, as said, coming our way.

Ings will feel that he could, and should, have won this with an early chance that he was only able to hit straight at Vorm having worked a way through. Boyd battled to get the ball from Mason in midfield before setting the striker away but he didn't get his head up and allowed Lloris' deputy Vorm to save, a positive start nevertheless.

Chances, at either end, were at a premium for the remainder of the half - the game as a whole - but again Ings called Vorm into action ahead of half time, he tipped over his effort this time.

Spurs, with us keeping the dangerous Kane quiet all afternoon, didn't offer up too much threat in the second half with the best chance, and only real chance of the second half coming in injury-time when Jutkiewicz, on as a sub, crossed into Boyd but he couldn't direct his header on target.

Goals win games; we need to start finding them regularly. If we do we've got a very good chance of still staying in the Premier League especially if we can keep it tight defensively too, and we were awesome at the back on Sunday.
