Since I went to this one, only my second away game of the season, hope VR won't mind me setting up this thread:

1. Lee Grant 15/20. A couple of astonishing saves but a bit of a wimp for their controversial first goal.

2. Kieran Trippier 12/20 Not bad, bit quiet

3. Danny Lafferty 11/20 Would have rated him 17/20 in first half but faded badly and started looking nervous, making mistakes in second.

4. Michael Duff 14/20 Solid again. odd mistake though

5. Jason Shackell 15/20 Not bad, like Duff but more consistency

6. Chris McCann 12/20 Not as effective as he can be and Austin felt it!!

7. Ross Wallace 11/20 Average and fifth yellow careless... Austin wondered where his crosses were!

8. Dean Marney 12/20 Another average player, did little to excite..and Austin suffered

20. Marvin Bartley 13/20 Team looked a little bit livelier when he came on..but Austin didn't benefit

22. Brian Stock 16/20 Man of the match just but has played better and faded a bit in second half..and Austin looked frustrated!

9. Sam Vokes 17/20 Great for him he scored at long last after coming on! Now hopefully he can claim a starting place soon and continue to hit back of net

10. Martin Paterson 10/20 Naw sorry Pato, very average ask Austin!!

11. Junior Stanislas 12/20 Much better than here last season good cross for Vokes to score

23. Charlie Austin 10/20 Austin would say its because his team mates couldn't get the ball to him..they couldn't!!

Flavio 10/20 Solid performance. 10/20 agreed!

Keita 11/20 worked hard will get better 10/20 almost agreed!

Marinho 6/20 mmmmnnnnn 10/20

Makelele 12/20 solid again this Brazilian is getting better 10/20

Joao Real 8/20 as Dias 14/20!

Cleyton 14/20 this Brazilian will be snapped up soon, great display against Atletico Madrid on Thursday followed up by a strong performance tonight. 10/20!

Nivaldo 10/20 Looked to be playing with an injury perhaps he should have been subbed earlier. 10/20 agreed

Wilson Eduardo 16/20 great goal and it put them on the back foot for the last 10minutes 14/20

Cisse 11/20 tough job as the lone front man 10/20 almost agreed!

This was my 4th game in 9 days, best was beating Madrid, then Leeds then Wolves and lastly losing 2 1 tonight to Porto. Normal service next Saturday back at the Turf! Vin
