Thomas Hit With Charge

Thomas has been hit with an 18 month conditional charge following his actions in a Stoke City match against Millwall last season.

The defender was found guilty of assaulting police officer Sgt John D'arcy, pushing him as he was ushered towards the tunnel at the end of the match, although the player denied the charge.

Thomas was sent off in the defeat at Ipswich on Saturday, and has just returned following an injury lay-off with a knee injury.

I assume you mean an 18 month conditional discharge. He must have pleaded guilty to a lesser offence to receive that sentence!

In future Thomas has to behave properly or otherwise the axe will fall on his neck . Now that he is in another environment and within a prestigious club , and under a very capable manager ,there is to fear that he will repeat his past blunder .

He has to learn and learn quickly, or he'll get snubbed everywhere.
