Robson Chooses Celtic

Burnley target Barry Robson has completed a move from Dundee United to Celtic.

The 29-year-old midfielder agreed a three-and-a-half-year contract and has also passed a medical following agreement of personal terms with the Buoys.

Cant say I am surprised, but suspect had we really wanted this guy we could have got him by paying over the odds much earlier and stopped pfaffing about!

Neither am I, Celtic were willing to pay £1.25 million, we weren't simple as that. Bit annoying but we'll have to make do.

Riordan looks to be the one losing out, doesnt go anywhere and stays with a club with no plans it seems to play him. Wonder if there is a chance now of a loan to end season with view to buying him in Summer? I am sure this Lafferty business has soured things up for us on Riordan

Would Riordan class as an international transfer because he's coming from another country's league? Or is he allowed because of the make up for the UK in general?? Am just clinging on to a little bit of hope......

You got me thnking now, cant we take loans for all in EU, but its classed as International if outside? That could explain probem with Argy, since Turkey are not in EU and he's Argentine anyway?
