'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Coyle all for Argy Bargy!

Galatasaray's 24-year old Argentine midfielder Marcelo Carrusca is now confirmed as a potential loan for the Clarets. Owen Coyle has told BBC Radio Lancashire:

'He's not particularly settled in Turkey. We've been on this for five weeks and we're just hoping that it bears fruit.

'There's been a couple of hiccups but we've tried to iron those out. I can't say that is going to come off but it won't be for the want of trying.'

Get in there Owen, you can do it! Excites me this one, what other club can claim to have the New Maradona in their team?

Lets hope he can pull this one off, sounds promising if hes spouting off to Radio Lancs. This is potentially the most exciting in my opinion of all the rumours

It is very exciting, he's not mentioned names before, so can only be a good thing. hope he's here for the weekend.

Must see if they repeat the interview on Radio Lancs and listen for clues in his voice! This would cheer me up no end even if this was just the only one that came in! Would mean three loans and no perm signings though, tight beggar or canny Scot?
turfmanphil
Bit of both I think Phil. I suppose you can say he isn't making any rushed signings and wasting the clubs money but on the other hand it would be good to see a statement of intent on behalf of the club with a few permanent signings
SaintClaret
Agree SC, especially when we are so close to getting potential promotion at long last! It strikes me, that maybe Prudence has to be replaced by 'Oh bugger it we might not get a better chance ever'
turfmanphil
Think he's being canny, keeping the cash till summer, although if we mount the challenge for promotion then we'll be rolling in it with all sky's lovely money, so he should of spent something. Think I'm now resigned to not bringing any players in that we'd have to pay money out for.
AccyClaret
Me too Accy. Maybe the Robson deal has been sidelined because of the confidence of something happening with regards to Carrusca. Shame we don't look on the cusp of anything but then again of OC is believed they've been working on the Carrusca deal for 5 weeks!! Maybe tomorrow we will get a permanent signing..perhaps Whelan or dare I say it again Riordan?
SaintClaret
Well one good loan in so far today! Lets hope for one more biggy at least before midnight tonight. One big permanent signing in the £1 million region would make all the right noises about the club's ambitions IMO.
