'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Where is the Cole Man?

'Andy Cole could be a Burnley player by the end of today.' so said the Lancashire Telegraph yesterday.

Well that timing passed unless it has gone through but has not been announced yet.

So where is the Cole, man?

As he turned us down or is he still thinking about the move?

According to the local paper, Burnley were waiting for a decision from the former England and Manchester United striker hoping to have him in the squad before our next game against West Brom at the Hawthorns this Saturday.

It is understood the loan deal for the 36 year old Sunderland forward would run until the end of the season should he take up the offer.

The Clarets will be hoping that the prolific goalscorer (over 280 goals in his career) will be able to help secure at least a play-offs position this season.

Still cant get excited about this potential loan although if he starts knocking them in I might have to review my stance!

If he can still score the goals, we'll have to think twice about his age, just think we should be going younger rather than making the squad older. Although you can't beat the premiership experience at some top clubs and one total shower. Might be worth a go you know, the age thing is what worries me

Think he will be a good squad player and expect to see him mainly on the bench if Ade/Blake continue in this form without injury/suspension
