Duff could Play as soon as February
Michael Duff suffering from a long-term injury after sustaining cruciate ligament damage has received some excellent news that will also cheer the hearts of Clarets fans.
He last played for the Clarets against Crystal Palace at Turf Moor back in September and was seriously injured in that game
We then all heard the grim news that the cruciate ligament damage could mean our Northern Ireland International defender would miss the rest of the season. Later in 2007 however we did hear the encouraging news that Duff was making an amazing recovery and could be ready in under 4 months time.
Today the Official Site have announced that he is back in training with the first team and could be fit enough to play in under a month's time.
This is great news for all Clarets fans and even better for Duff himself who had to be content with winning the North West Championship Player of the Year Award for 2006/7 whilst being sidelined with injury.
It also sounds like our other player suffering from cruciate ligamant damage, Besart Berisha is also making steady progress with the announcement he is now back in light training.
