Vital Burnley having a Ball!

Vital Burnley having a Ball!

Many thanks to all our members and users of Vital Burnley for contributing to building our Clarets & Footy community.

The site is going from strength to strength and the great news is that we now have 150 members. It was only two months ago we were announcing our 100th member. To increase that by another 50 in about two months is tremendous news!

The success of the forums too has been awesome since we revamped these and introduced new features. We now have forums for 'Clarets Nostalgia' where you can view old Clarets footage on You Tube and talk about the good old days and we have a forum called 'Matchday Mayhem' where we can harnass the power of the Vital network and invite rival fans over for some banter leading up to a matchday fixture.

Every club in the four divisions of England are represented by a Vital site and a number also cover the teams in the Scottish leagues.

This puts us at a great advantage compared to some of the other Network football sites and we have easy access to the other sites and their editors to arrange discussions with rival fans and engage in some friendly banter in well-moderated forums.

We also have a number of general football and off-topic forums to choose from in addition to those discussing the Clarets.

The success of the forums is highlighted by our monthly site hits. It is still only the 15th January and already our monthly hits are four times that of our previous best monthly figure. We will say that again 4 times higher with half the month still to go!

The good news also is that with Vital's support you will be seeing some additional publicity in the media over the coming months and we hope to see our community build even more.

Vital Burnley have an excellent admin team working behind the scenes from the world of media and IT and of course we have our own Site Journalists.

Our members are also invited to write articles about the Clarets eg match reports and obtain a little bit of fame as we put these up on our front page and allow folk to comment on them.

Everybody can do their part though to make the Vital Burnley Community even stronger, if you are a member why not invite along your Clarets chums or even your chums who support other teams and get them to do the same? The community will build with friemds of friends and we truly will be able to have a ball.

If you are just reading this and havent yet joined, why not register and say hello in the forums? Vital Burnley will keep you updated on all Clarets news and gossip, including the latest transfer rumours. If we miss any our posters will put us right!

Once again many thanks to all those using Vital Burnley and contributing to our success.

Its staggering, I know we had the Arsenal match which helped and its all exciting with the Rumour Mill in full flow but hits have gone through the roof! We have always been a site for article reading in the past but since we started concentrating on the forums and interactive stuff its gone bananas! Long may it continue!

Rumnours are rife in football and some come true and others are just Cr@p but you need them to make life interesting and sometimes allows minnows like us to dream

We do indeed! Whats out there on the internet is fair game in my opinion and everyone is adult enough to know, they could just be bollox. Some pillocks even make them up to be spiteful, childish fools but who cares. Rumours are the lifeblood of MBs. I know some Clarets boards that censor them & spoil the fun
