Clarets Trust 2008 Beer Festival

Clarets Trust organise the only Beer Festival in Burnley and it's a must for real-ale fanatics whether you support the Clarets, support another team or in fact dont even like football! (Philistines!!)

This is now the 4th year of the event and it will be held in the 1882 Lounge at Turf Moor on the 9th (Friday) and 10th (Saturday) of May 2008

The doors will be open from 1pm-11pm on Friday and 12noon-11pm on Saturday.

The Trust is working with East Lancs CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale) as well as the Burnley Express and Burnley Football Club to organise and promote the event.

At this stage the Trust is now looking for companies to advertise in the programme and support the festival through various other Sponsorships.

Packages are available and interested parties should call Meg Fawcett on 07944 625912.

So then who on here likes the odd tipple of real-ale and can make this event? There will be some non-alcoholic drinks on sale by the way as well plus one or two ciders.

I really do enjoy a good pint of real ale every now and then! Much better than the chemical riddled lagers and alco-pops! I'll be having a look in! Be rude not to!
