Coyle Guns for Positive Spin

The fantastic FA Cup draw news today has stirred Owen Coyle into some typical positive spin as he relishes the prospect of entertaining Premier League leaders, Arsenal at Turf Moor. We will probably play the Gunners on Sat 5th (if not Sun 6th) of January in the New Year.

We could not have wished for a better third round FA Cup tie. Its a pretty impressive money spinner even if we dont progress much further. This will be a high profile match whichever way you look at it and we should secure at least a lucrative TV deal from the game.

Stuff the money though, Owen Coyle is up for this one:

'I don't think they come any better than that,' said Coyle speaking to Sky Sports News. 'It's a fantastic draw for the whole town and it will be a sell-out crowd. As a player, coach or manager, you want to play against the best players, the best team, and Arsenal provide that.

'It's a glamour tie and we will give everything we can to show our best. We will be positive, and try and take the game to them.

'It would be folly to sit back and let them come at you, they will just pick you off anyway.

'We do have an opportunity to create a shock, and we will try and do that. It's a big, big ask and we will give it our best shot.'

with any luck they will continue to disrespect the competition and put out a reserve side, if not it will be very difficult.

There is no disrespect intended just trying to even things out a little bit like beating liverpool twice last season with reserves spuds twice and newcastle this season.
