Gunners at Turf in FA Cup

Gunners at Turf in FA Cup

We draw THE GUNNERS!

Wenger's men come to the Turf in a fantastic draw for the Clarets.

What a time for Owen Coyle to show what he can do now.

I suppose we will see some sort of Gunners B or C team but what the hell, we all remember Liverpool!

Bring it on!

The draw for the third round of the FA Cup was made this afternoon at Soho Square. The draw was seen on BBC1 and was hosted by Sir Trevor Brooking aided and abetted by the former Ipswich star,Kevin Beattie and Arsenal legend, Sammy Nelson.

These two players faced each other in the 1978 FA Cup between Ipswich and Arsenal.Ipswich won the match 1-0 that day.

We didnt have long to wait for Number 9 home ball to be pulled out by Kevin Beattie. The shock came when Sammy Nelson then pulled out Number 1,the Arsenal ball! Aye,Sammy a former Arsenal player as well!

All the third round games will be played over the 5th and 6th January in the New Year.

I hope you all watched the Carling Cup game when Arsenal traveled to Blackburn. Because that is the quality of the Arsenal B side you will have to face. With your poor recent record versus the qualtiy of our side, I can see this one becoming a rout.
