Cotterill Happy at Turf Moor

Burnley manager Steve Cotterill insists he is happy with his position at Turf Moor, following speculation linking him with the vacant manager's position at Leicester.

City had made an approach to speak to the Clarets boss, but that was swiftly turned away.

Cotterill said: ''The chairman has turned it down and that is how it is.

'I'm very privileged and honoured that Leicester have asked to speak to me, but I'm manager of Burnley and don't envisage that changing.'

Cotterill previously spent six months at Leicester, working under Micky Adams as coach in the 2003/04 season.

Burnley entertain Plymouth on Saturday at Turf Moor, looking for their first win in 2006. The Clarets lost the corresponding fixture at Home Park 1-0 in September.

He will be a top manager one day. If he takes his time and learns, than i think he's a future england manager.
