Foxes Cotterill Attempt Turned Away

Leicester City have been refused permission to speak to Burnley boss Steve Coterill, as they continue their search for a new manager.

The Burnley board have stood firm and moved swiftly to ensure that highly rated manager Cotterill stays on board.

The former Cheltenham and Stoke manager has worked wonders in his two seasons at Turf Moor, establishing the Clarets as a top-half Championship side.

Cotterill has a busy 48 hours ahead as he looks to strengthen the Burnley side before the transfer window closes tomorrow, armed with funds from the sale of Ade Akinbiyi.
