Brum,Brum for Ternent!

Former Clarets manager, Stan Ternent is not enjoying a happy retirement and painting his shed afterall

He has a new job as Birmingham's European scout according to an article in the Lancashire Telegraph

Stan was in Denmark last weekend and in Istanbul during last week looking for talent

'Steve Bruce is a big pal of mine, and he asked me if I fancied the role, said Stan

'I still keep in touch with the game. I might be taking it easy now but I still get to as many games as I can during the week.

'So this role is one I enjoy.

'Basically, Steve could call at any minute asking me to scout a player.

Just hope he doesnt class Burnley as being in Europe

"Just hope he does'nt class Burnley as being in Europe." No danger on that front. There's no talent or class in Burnley. I mean if there was why is Burnley the scrap heap for all the worn out players?
