Clarets Agree Akinbiyi Sale
Burnley have agreed to a club record sale for leading scorer Ade Akinbiyi.
Speculation has been rife throughout the transfer window, with Sheffield United eventually meeting the Clarets' demands.
The fee is believed to be in the region of £1.75 million pounds, and sees Burnley sell the player for almost three times the value they paid Stoke City just under a year ago.
The 31-year-old has scored 14 goals so far this season, and must now agree personal terms with the Blades.
