Coyne signs for Tranmere

Danny Coyne has returned to Prenton Park for his second spell at Tranmere after being released by the Clarets at the end of 2006/7.

The 33-yeard old keeper previously made 111 appearances for Tranmere between 1992 and 1999 and has been capped 15 times by Wales.

Tranmere boss, Ronnie Moore told the club's official website: 'Danny is a top quality international goalkeeper who is well known to everyone at the club.

'I honestly believe we've got the best goalkeeper in League One with the signing of Danny.'

The keeper himself is quoted as saying the following on the BBC Sport website.

'It's like coming home and it's nice to be back. I get on well with the manager and coaching staff and I know quite a few of the players.I want to do well with Tranmere and I can't wait to start playing at Prenton Park again.'

Good luck,Danny sorry it didnt quite work out for you during your stay with the Clarets!
