Rumour Mill- Coyne & McGreal

Rumour Mill- Coyne & McGreal

A number of rumours circulated this week that Ipswich gaffer, Jim Magilton might be interested in bringing two out-of-contract Clarets players to Portman Road.

Both Danny Coyne and former Ipswich player, John McGreal were released this week by Clarets manager, Steve Cotterill.

In the local East Anglian media today however, possible interest has been denied in both cases by the Ipswich manager.

The players agent had said that Ipswich had been in contact with him about the pair.

However Jim Magilton has since said:

'Danny has never been on the radar. We were interested in John a year ago but now, especially with Fabian doing so well at centre-half, I feel we have that area covered.'
