Kevan on Injuries and Luton

Dave Kevan has been speaking to the Official Club website and we quote here some of his comments about the 'must-win' Luton match this Saturday and report his update regarding our injured players.

He is quoted as saying the following in relation to the Luton match

'We are well aware that it's a massive game and we will be looking to make sure the three points are ours.

'The run we've been on has been well documented and there is no getting away from it.

'But now we are looking forward, both to Luton as a priority and then beyond that.'

On the injury situation there are some encouraging signs as Dave explains:

'One or two players have managed to get back on the training ground, which is encouraging,'

'Andy (Gray) is also looking more like his old self. He was laid low with an illness and that took a lot out of him, but the break has certainly helped and now he looks fresher, fitter and stronger and hopefully he will be raring to go.

'The last three or four days he has trained without any problems and it's certainly nice to see him looking that way.'

'The two new players (Coughlan & McVeigh) will increase competition and that will be important,' added Kevan

'But we've had one or two missing through injury and international football and having the two boys available has certainly been a big help towards our preparation for Saturday'
