Vital View - Premier League - 23rd-24th September 2017
The Premier League season continued with the latest round of games played over the weekend.
A five goal thriller at the London Stadium kicked off the action on Saturday when Tottenham edged out rivals West Ham in the lunchtime game.
Everton, very much in need of the points, got a win against fellow strugglers Bournemouth when battling back from a goal down for a first win in four.
Winning, in fact scoring goals, isn't a problem for Manchester City as they continued an impressive start to the campaign with another thrashing. City saw off the challenge from Crystal Palace 5-0 at the Etihad Stadium. Cross-town rivals Manchester United might have only won by the single goal but that was enough for the points at Southampton.
Chelsea hit four in a victory at Stoke whereas another five goal thriller in the evening kick off saw Liverpool overcome hosts Leicester.
On Sunday, a second Premier League win was collected by Brighton at the Amex Stadium when Albion saw off Newcastle, in a game that was a Championship fixture as the Magpies won the title last season.
Here's a round-up of the Premier League results with one game to take place.
