18 Points For Burnley To Play For (14/4/17)

18 Points For Burnley To Play For (14/4/17)

Burnley have only 18 points left to play for in this year's battle in the Premier League.

With the games dwindling down now at the real business end of the campaign as Burnley find themselves heading towards the end of May, sitting in 12th place in the Premier League table on 36 points for the campaign so far, we are eight ahead of Swansea City in the dropzone and only four points off Southampton in ninth place.

Sean Dyche would argue it's very much a case of looking up the table as we go into the final six matches of the season, it's simply take each one as they come as survival is certainly in our hands and that's where we'd have wanted it.

The two or three fixtures are particularly tough given the oppositions form, but we're more than capable of pulling off a shock or two - especially with three of the last six on home soil.
