Club confirm Caldwell talks
Steve Cotterill has confirmed that the club held discussions yesterday with Stephen Caldwell after Sunderland granted the 26-year-old central defender permission to speak.
Steve goes on to say 'We have agreed a fee with Sunderland and we're now waiting to hear back from the player and/or his agent.
'I met Steve on Wednesday at the ground, and we're just waiting for a decision. He would be a good signing for the club.'
So presumably this must be one of the two players that Steve hinted he wanted last week after signing Joey Gudjonsson
