Safe Standing Milestone-104 MPs sign
For those that dont know about this,an Early Day Motion (EDM) was put down by Mike Hancock MP on the 15th November last year.
The EDM read as follows:
'That this House urges the Government to re-examine the case for introducing small, limited sections of safe standing areas at football grounds; further urges the Government to recognise that there is widespread support for such areas, and that improvements in stadium design and technology mean that with rigorous safety specifications standing areas could be safely re-introduced; and calls on the Minister concerned to convene a meeting of representatives of the police, supporters, Premier League clubs and the Football Licensing Authority to find a way forward.'
In just two months, 104 MPs have since signed the above EDM.
This should ensure there will now be a chance of a debate of the EDM in Parliament and we shall continue to bring you news of any progress as it happens.

Doncaster are having a problem at the new ground with over excitable stewards removing any fans for standing.

Common problem on many grounds, the whole thing needs to be looked at.Surely the way forward is to have small.safe designated areas for standing as per the EDM
