Speaking to the Official Site in his post game press conference after seeing Burnley pick up another victory this year - this time a three one on home soil - the gaffer said he had every confidence we could keep this run going and he was obviously delighted with the performance and the continuing impact of Andre Gray.
Moving up to joint top in the Championship table, and registering our ninth win in twelve, Dyche explained.
'It`s not easy to win football matches and to win them as regularly as we are is even more difficult, so I am very pleased, especially when the game is not in our favour, that we can come through. We can win again you know. Sometimes people think you are due a loss, but you can keep winning and winning and winning and that`s the mentality we have. It doesn`t guarantee the next win, of course, but you know what I am suggesting. We don`t get wrapped up in the conjecture around us. We focus on what we do as a unit when that whistle blows.'
With Gray hitting a brace for the third successive game, he went on to add about the performance itself.
'Overall, I was very pleased, particularly in the first half, when I thought we were outstanding. That`s the best we`ve played and we controlled the game tactically, technically, physically and mentally. It`s fair to say you can`t control a game for 95 minutes and they came at us in the second half. People will see that they had a good spell, but we did hit the bar, had one cleared off the line and Andre skimmed one over the bar, so let`s face it, very early in the second half they could have been dead and buried. Credit to Fulham though. They had nothing to lose and everything to gain and flooded players forward. They went back to front a bit quicker and we dealt well with that overall. It turned into a bit of a ding dong, but I didn`t feel that we were out of control and finally we scored a very good third with a deft finish and the game was done.'
And finally thoughts on our record signing.
'Andre is becoming a very good player. He is absorbing what is around him and the way that we work. He is showing very strong signs at the moment, but I don`t single players out very often, but I thought David Jones` supply line tonight was excellent. Alongside was Joey who worked tirelessly, as he does, and I could go through the whole team because there were so many good things about the side tonight.'
As for Jones in his own interview, he went on to explain that he feels like the side is clicking more, but we are also grinding out moments in games when we need to.
'I thought we played really well in the first-half and deserved to be ahead. We knew there would be a reaction from Fulham in the second-half but we managed to cope in the end and get a third to give us a cushion. Andre brings goals, he`s a big threat and he has made a big difference since coming in. For a midfielder such as myself it gives you a different option sometimes and there are good relationships throughout the team. He can find space in the box and it was a great header and another good performance from him.'
As for the performance overall, and Fulham's attempted second half fightback, he went on to add.
'They got a goal back fairly early in the half and they`ve scored a lot of goals recently. It`s about finding different ways to win and I think we`ve got that knack of being able to do that when we`re under a bit of pressure. It`s another well-fought win and we look forward to Saturday now. We have to go to Wolves with confidence and we don`t want to take our foot off the gas. It`ll be a tough challenge again but we`re give it our all and see where it takes us.'
