Was very imprrssed with Darikwa and Gray, but we were second best today,

Is it not about time GC that for once we had a little luck on our side...we hung in and deserved our win at the end...a sign of a great team when not playing well.I agree Darikwa & Gray were outstanding against a very good side but we will get better as time goes on.With Deano & Barton to come in we will have the option in some games to play 4.5.!...as Gray can play as a lone striker as he was doing last year successfully.4.4.2. is the preferred option but we now have plan B especially away from home against the bigger teams. We now have the momentum to drive forward & have a more balanced squad.Looking forward to 3 more points against the Dons.UTC.

Sort of think Duff and Keane could be worth a mention as well. I know one was AWOL when they scored but they both managed to thwart the Wednesday attack in front of the goal on a fair number of occasions.

A good result when the performance was yet again below par for this team, but as Irish says, it’s always a sign of a good team when this happens. The defence was excellent as usual and some very encouraging signs are becoming increasingly evident , in particular the contribution of Gray. There’s goals in this lad , and hopefully this will rub off on the rest of the team as we slowly acclimatize to the Championship again. UTC.
