Gray booted but breathes better!

The Clarets are still coming to terms with the loss of Andy Gray for eight weeks after he broke his foot in the match against Leeds. The Clarets leading goalscorer broke three metatarsals with just minutes to go in the Leeds match last Tuesday night.

The management team are trying to pull out all the stops to reduce the time Gray will be out of action.

Manager Steve Cotterill says on the official site

'Andy is in a (special) boot and we are going to get him in the oxygen chamber three times a week.

'If that can bring it (the lay-off) down to six weeks, we would be delighted. At the moment though we are probably looking at February.'

Good luck to Andy and now Lafferty has a chance to shine in his place. Looks promising so far after he got a peach of a goal late on in the Ipswich match yesterday
