You Bet It Is Back To Having A Fun Shirt Sponsor!

The Clarets have reached the end of their two-year shirt sponsorship deal with online kitchen specialists Premier Range and despite a somewhat suitable name for our new life in the top flight, they will no longer be our sponsors next season.

They will be replaced in the 2014-15 season though by a familiar name. Yes, Fun 88 is back! Asia`s leading online gaming brand will once again be featured on our shirts. The previous shirt partnership with Fun88 occurred between 2010-2012. (A shirt from that time is pictured above) It would appear that spell in commercial terms was successful enough for Fun 88 to consider sponsoring the club for a second time and that deal was confirmed earlier this month.

Director of Fun88, Nathan Walker, said:

"Our relationship with Burnley Football Club has grown so much through the years and we are delighted to be working in tandem once again.

"This season, we are absolutely sure that the club will work wonders for our brand. And on behalf of Fun88, we are glad to support the club as much as we can."

Lee Hoos, Burnley FC CEO, added:

"I would like to place on record our thanks to Premier Range, with whom we continue to have a good working relationship.

"This new deal with Fun88 represents the biggest shirt sponsorship deal in the club`s history and we are delighted to nurture such a strong relationship with an established and successful company on the other side of the world.

"This is a great marker as to how far the club has actually come and we look forward to continuing our successful partnership."

Wonder how many folk are a little distressed with links to a betting firm and in effect condoning gambling through sponsorship? I notice they have not put Fun88 on youth team shirts
