La Liga side Celta Vigo at Turf Moor

The Clarets have added a home pre-season friendly to their schedule in preparation for life in the Premier League. It is a pretty prestigious clash too with the Clarets facing international opposition from a Spanish La Liga side! Burnley will host Celta Vigo at Turf Moor in a pre-season friendly on Tuesday 5thAugust (Kick-Off-7:30pm).

Celta (formed in 1923) last season finished in 9th place in the Primera Division. Their most successful season in the Spanish top flight came in 2002-03 after finishing fourth and qualifying for the Championship League where they were knocked out by Arsenal.

The pre-season campaign with ticketing details (where announced) now looks like this:

Sun 20 Jul FC Großklein (A) 5pm (Austrian Tour)

Sat 26 Jul Accrington Stanley (A) 3pm

Prices for this game have been confirmed at:

Adults 15
Concessions (over 64) and students (with ID card) £10
U17 £5

Tue 29 Jul Preston (A) 7.45pm

Tickets for the friendly will be priced as below:

Adults: £10
Adult Season Ticket Holders: £7.50
Concessions (Seniors/ Young Adults / Students): £5
Juniors: £1

Sat 02 Aug Blackpool (A) 3pm

Tickets for the friendly will be priced as below:

Adults: £15
Concessions: £10

Tue 05 Aug Celta Vigo (H) 7.30pm
