What a week! Win over 2nd, FA U21 semi spot secured, and now this! Can it get any better? Can it? The Vokes Wagon heads for the Deadwood Stage!

Forgot to add 'Brendan back on Board' in my above account of an amazing week.

Congratulations Sam Well deserved.
Grimsby Claret
Have seen most games in February and, indeed, have only missed a handful all season, and this is a well deserved award for the big Welshman. However, a number of other players would have been equally justified winners - Heaton, Marney and Jones have all been excellent but so has young Trippier who puts in, at least, an 8/10 performance in every game.

Well done Sam, nothing less than he fully deserved. And to top everything he scores for Wales as well . His goal against Rovers didn't seem offside to me.

Don't ask me about the finer points of the rules, Welsh. But it most certainly was not offside, if Dunn's last year is the yardstick. Still, the joy was that much greater for having been briefly deferred... and it may well also have been that Rover pain was that much greater too for having their forlorn hopes lifted for an hour! In the context of his personal battle with Danny for top Claret Championship scorer, let's hope he unleashes his own frustration with a hat-trick at Bham!
