Burnley have been linked with a possible loan deal, for Sheffield United defender Chris Lucketti.

Lucketti, formerly of rivals Preston, is down the pecking order at Bramall Lane, and has been linked with a possible loan move to Turf Moor, as the injury to McGreal may have left us short at the back.

The News of the World makes the claim, although they also say that Neil Warnock would prefer to offload the stopper on a permanent basis in the January transfer window.

Interesting, since Foster has stepped into the role left by McGreal after his injury, we do need some extra cover in defence. I have also seen on the net, rumours of Chris Morgan from Sheff Utd being linked with the Clarets for either a loan move or permanent deal (it doesn't speculate any further).

Breaking news from the official Burnley FC website, link, http://www.burnleyfootballclub.premiumtv.co.uk/page/News/BreakingNews/0,,10413~917937,00.html It would appear that Lucketti was wanting a permenant deal. Cotterill has now not persued it any further.
