It be a Trip to the Seaside on Good Friday now!

It be a Trip to the Seaside on Good Friday now!

Burnley's Championship away fixture against Lancashire rivals Blackpool will now be played at Bloomfield Road on Good Friday 18th April and will kick-off at 3pm.

The match which was originally scheduled for Saturday 19 April, has been brought forward 24 hours to allow more preparation time for Burnley's home game against Wigan and Blackpool's away trip to Brighton on Easter Monday.

Remarkably the season has not started yet and already six of our fixtures have already been changed including the opener against Bolton at Turf Moor on Saturday 3rd August (brought forward to a 12:15pmm Kick-Off to accommodate Sky Sports Live). The two Rovers fixtures have also been put back to Sunday in each case at the request of the Police and the two following co-incidental midweek games against Birmingham, now changed from Tuesday night to Wednesday night.
