March Winds and April Showers?

We better be in a good position by the end of Feb and not struggling. Have you seen who we play in the months of March & April? April is particularly awful

In March:

Crystal Palace,Plymouth,Southend,Preston and Luton Town

In April:

Birmingham,Cardiff City,Leeds United,WBA and Sunderland

Our last match is on 6th May against Coventry at home. Not an easy one either!

I have to be more positive I know, but maybe I just have too many bad memories of the second-half of the last two seasons.

8th over Xmas in 2004-5, sell Blake & Chaplow, midtable finish

5th over Xmas in 2005-6, sell Akinbiyi, struggle like mad and finish in bottom half

It seems three things need to happen by the start of 2007

1. We are reasonably placed in the League, say Top 10 and we have not lost too many games against lowly opposition, especially at home. No more Colchesters please!

2. Lets benefit from the January Transfer Window for a change or at least dont sell any of our key players!

3. Our confidence is high and we avoid any bad runs in Jan/Feb.

Yeah I am sure I am over-reacting[at least I hope so] but lets ensure we can weather the Spring storm with no fog descending on Turf Moor come May time!
