Blake Rumours Persist

Former Burnley striker Robbie Blake is being linked with a return to Turf Moor, with a loan move in particular being mooted.

The classy striker was a hit at Turf Moor, leading the clubs scoring chart, before eventually leaving for Birmingham in a fee upwards of a million pounds.

His spell at Birmingham was a frustrating one, and he soon made a transfer to Leeds Utd, where he has now slipped down the pecking order, despite scoring in the clubs Carling Cup tie last night.

FansFC.com report on the rumours, but it is more likely that Leeds will be looking for a permanent transfer for the gifted frontman.

I think you have forget to mention an important aspect to this! Blake wasnt getting the games due to some falling out allegedly with Blackwell who of course today was sacked! Gawd knows where that leaves Blake but interesting times!
