Hope to see you both there TMP. Went to this one last season and it was a fantastic atmosphere at the Amex. Bar, perhaps, Old Trafford on a European night it was possibly the best I have ever seen in over 40 years of watching football. Mind you, it probably helped that the locals were a bit peeved after two of their mob were sent off early doors. With Gus Poyet doing his usual (and predictable) storming off down the tunnel routine it was tremendous stuff.

Yep, I was there too for that one one!! Great day out and found a nice pub in Brighton ahead of game and even went for a bracing stroll along the beach

Not having managed to get to a game yet this season, it was a disappointment, after tmp got us tickets for Millwall, that snow messed up the trains from my SW hide-out, and I never saw the tickets, let alone the match. So imagine my excitement at opening an envelope this morning (or possibly afternoon by the time first post arrived) at seeing at last a pair of Burnley tickets for this game, and the two 10 off away shirt coupons. I have to confess that I wasn't planning on buying one of the cut-price away shirts. I've nothing against them, but I'm expecting to move house in about a year and my current game plan is to chuck out assets rather than acquire them (a bit like a team on shrinking parachute payments). But seeing the words on the coupons that they have to be used before 23 Feb, and that it costs me rather more than 10 to get to the Turf, simultaneously fired up my desire (almost need) for one of the shirts, as well my frustration at being probably unable to get one!

I wont be at this one - I was there last year for the game. A very nervy affair given the circumstances and one in which we nearly got pegged back for a draw. Although I am not a big fan of Poyet - I thought he set up his team exactly right after being reduced to 9 men!

Have just noticed that tickets for this game include free bus/rail travel in the stadium zone. Turns out that this extends as far north as Haywards Heath and this will reduce my costs considerably. Great news - full marks to BHAFC too.

I shall have to read the small print myself, RT. Thank you. But I guess it's tough luck for tmp, whose ticket I must remember to bring with me!

Maybe Bfc could follow suit, and offer inclusive train travel from, er, Bl*ckburn?
