Hull Fixture Changed due to Sky

Burnley's Championship fixture at home to Hull City has been moved to Monday, 11 March (kick-off 7.45pm) for Sky Sports live television coverage. The game had been originally scheduled for Saturday 9th March.

Personally, I am disgusted by this sort of decision and I am sick and tired of being at the beck and call of Sky Sports. They have no regard for the fans at all, especially those living away from Burnley like me. I will be working on Monday, over 200 miles away and will now miss the game. As a season ticket holder that means more lost money when I would have easily been able to go up and watch this game on Saturday! Very, very angry and yet you can do nothing!

Bloody Sky Sports, somebody do something about them!!

Agree, especially when they don't televise Burney v B*****ds which kicked of early and so was on at a great time here in Perth (plus 8 hours). Now this is on at 3.45am here.

Couldn't disagree with either of the above views though, as ever, there is another side of the coin. I'm assuming there might be some who couldn't go on Saturday who will now be able to go on Monday. We'll never know of course but my bet is that the crowd for the re-arranged game will be lower than average. I guess the club must have agreed with Sky that this game could be covered - and there are some who complain that we are never on the telly and then, when we are, moan about that too! But overall, my view is that everything should be at 3pm on a Saturday.

The bizarre thing is, this change unless we manage to play Huddersfield at the Turf on Sat 16th Feb-FA Cup permitting is that we wont have a Sat game until April 6th!! RIDICULOUS!!
