Dane Richards Gets International Clearance

Dane Richards Gets International Clearance

The Official Site has confirmed that new winger, Dane Richards has received international clearance. Although it has been known for sometime he would be joining the club, he could not sign officially until the January window opened on New Year's Day. He duly signed but then had to wait for international clearance which also has now been confirmed according to the club.

The good news means he could be in contention to make his debut for the Clarets in the FA Cup clash against Barnsley at Oakwell this Saturday. He has a good chance of featuring too considering the mounting injury problems for Sean Dyche.

The 29 year old Jamaican international is a former New York Red Bulls player who signed for Vancouver Whitecaps FC in July 2012.

Indeed it will TMP - I just wonder how fit he will be? If he finished the season in approx November - will he now almost be at the start of pre season?

Believe he was training with the lads towards the end of last year so he may be more advanced than we think

He will no doubt add a lot of pace and energy to the squad.
