Ternent to Face Assault Charges
Former Burnley manager Stan Ternent has been charged with assault, after the cricket cup final incident, where he allegedly had an altercation.
The 60-year old was charged on Wednesday, with assault on the grounds of Actual Bodily Harm (ABH), after answering bail conditions set by police.
The incident happened last month, when the former Clarets boss became involved in an altercation with another Burnley man, while watching the cricket, as Burnley and Nelson contested the Worsley Cup Final.
Ternent will now appear before Burnley magistrates court on Sep 14.
