Vital Burnley Prediction League : First Update
Claret Dale provides his first update of the new 2012-13 season Prediction League competition and it should be noted this was written before the sudden departure of Eddie Howe back to AFC Bournemouth last Friday

10 games gone in a season which started better than I think most of us expected. Since then, it has not been so good and only the goals of Charlie are giving us something to really shout about. We now have two weeks before our next game. A lot of work needs to be done!
How have you started in the prediction league? The first update is below;
It wasn`t until our sixth game of the season at Leicester that a 'maximum` was scored with both Couch Potato and Claretfromaway correctly predicting our 2-1 defeat. Our disappointing results on the pitch are leading to a disappointing return in the prediction league. Hopefully Eddie (Editor note: And now whoever becomes new gaffer!) and the boys will soon put this right!

Wondered where you lost the games CP you should have asked me to have put them down for you everyone else seems too, in the interest of fairness could all could all participants please predict your scores in the forums if you can send an email you can post a prediction in the forums it would be a lot easier and quicker I am sure.

8c8 - I agree that in the interest of fairness it would be better for all predictions to be placed in the forums. Crosspool had emailed me before the Millwall, Sheff Weds & Palace games were listed as an option and it was my intention to predict in the forum for him, but I forgot until I was producing the table.

Was ok at Predict a Season and am the current Vital European Champion...but am hopeless at this domestic bread and butter stuff. I need to shape up or I might have to move back to other websites for 'personal reasons'.
