Pashley Holds Fort!

Youth team coach, Terry Pashley has been asked to oversee the first team as caretaker until a new manager is found according to local media reports although no formal announcement has been made.

Eddie Howe resigned this week and is now back as manager at AFC Bournemouth taking with him assistant, Jason Tindall. There were lengthy discussions between the two clubs before a compensation package could be agreed. According to the local press, it is believed a figure of £900,000 was finally accepted by both parties. This is roughly twice as much as Burnley paid Bournemouth 21 months ago.

Pashley will now oversee first team training and selection with help from goalkeeping coach Billy Mercer. Both have previous experience of the caretaker role. Following Coyle's departure, Pashley took charge of the first team along with Martin Dobson while Mercer has twice been in temporary charge of the Owls whilst at Sheffield Wednesday

Academy manager Jason Blake could also ge given a first-team role.

Let's just say he has to otherwise the new manager could already be facing a relegation battle

What would people think if Pash happened to win 3 in a row? (I would say this is at least as likely as some mythical 'god' who inspires selective memory amongst his followers winning 3 in a row.)

I don't think Pash would want to be full time manager, his expertise is bringing on young talent. I seem to remember ages ago reading somewhere that he turned down the chance to go to notloB with everyone else. He is truly loyal and win lose or draw he has my upmost respect for all he has done for our club.
