Pilgrim MacDonald Again!

Burnley striker Alex MacDonald has agreed a short-term loan move to League 2,Plymouth Argyle. MacDonald becomes a Pilgrim again for a second spell after ending last season at Home Park and helping Carl Fletcher's side avoid relegation from the Football League.MacDonald scored four goals in 18 appearances for the Pilgrims last season

Only this week the Scotland under-21 international was helping the Clarets knock Plymouth out of the Capital One Cup

The 22-year-old signed a new 12-month deal at Burnley during the summer and and will now gain further first-team experience playing in League Two.The striker has signed an initial emergency loan deal until the 6th October and is available for Plymouth's home game against Northampton Town on Saturday.

Think he might move to Plymouth on a permanent deal eventually. Just isn't going to break into the Clarets first team at this rate and now we have even less striker options.

Clarets Player said they thought he was trying too hard. Must have caught the (lack of) confidence bug that's sweeping through parts of squad and terraces.
