Swindon Away for Clarets in Capital One Cup

The draw for the third round of the Capital One Cup was made yesterday and Burnley will now travel to League One, Swindon after seeing off Plymouth 3-2 on penalties in the second round at Turf Moor. The match will be played at the County Ground the week commencing September 24.

This will certainly be a tougher challenge for the Clarets. Swindon, promoted as Champions from League Two last season despatched Premier League, Stoke City in their second round tie. In a pulsating match played in the Britannia Stadium, James Collins scored a hat-trick for the Robins with the final score finishing 4-3 after extra time.
