Vital Burnley Nominated Club's Preferred Fanzine

Vital Burnley have once again been nominated the Club's Preferred Fanzine following an agreement with Burnley FC.

We were last designated two seasons ago and at the moment we are currently on a rota system with other unofficial Clarets websites who raise money for the club.

The nomination brings with it the ability to publish our 2012-13 fixtures on the site for a nominal fee of just £1.20.

Fixtures at the moment are subject to copyright and are owned by Football DataCo Limited. Sites not accredited with preferred fanzine status normally have to pay about £200 to be able to publish them on their site or in a paper-based fanzine.

The fixtures this summer for the new season ahead will be published on Monday 18th June at 9 am and Vital Burnley will bring you all the detail as soon as we can. The fixtures will be published on the site in full but we will also highlight all those key games that Clarets fans will be wanting to know in particular.

What will be our opening game of the season?

Who will we play in our first home and first away game?

Will our first few games be tricky?

What will the run-in to the end of the season look like?

...and perhaps the biggest question all Clarets fans are asking...

When will we play Blackburn Rovers and Bolton?

All the answers will be provided next Monday on Vital Burnley

Good Stuff - I have a feeling it will be a fairly long distance away day first game. a Brighton/Ipswich/Bristol City type.

I am out of the country Jan 22nd until Feb 6th so they are the only dates that worry me.

That's great to hear cfa, and an opinion I share. I particularly value that we don't all agree with each other on here. Hopefully we can have a few laughs along the way too. Anyway, talking of fixtures, I got all excited about visiting a new ground when our pre-season vs Cheltenham was announced, then remembered I am visiting my parents in Macclesfield that day. No contest. As for the main games, having twice in two seasons been denied chances to visit the Den because the computer scheduled that game while I'm on leave, I am hoping for third time lucky.
