Prediction League - An Exciting Finish?

As we reach the penultimate game of the season at Bloomfield Road on Saturday, the prediction league season comes to an end with just five people now in with a realistic chance of scooping a prize.

The top five places are now just separated by just two points. Claretfromaway, Dale, Dad, Couch Potato and Barnsey will now fight for a spot in the top three and the title!

Will Dads inability to predict anything other than a Burnley win hurt his pocket?

Will the inexperience of Couch Potato near the top of the table lead to nerves?

Will the experience claretfromaway had in similar circumstances last year help?

Will Barnsey regret predicting away defeats in a season which has been so profitable away from the Turf?

Or, is it all down to luck and chance anyway?

Good Luck to all!

I cast my last two votes before reading this, as I am away from early tomorrow till after the denouement. Not sure I should be branded as inexperienced at the top, as I am, after all, the reigning VB World Cup Prediction League Champion, and I've got the mug to prove it!!! Nice one CD, and thanks for running the competition.

My missus is away this weekend and I am intending to have my own festival of football in front of the box. With a bit of luck I think I can watch eight games over two days. However, none will be as exciting as the climax that is developing here. Some of Vital's most famous contributors are poised at the foot of the plinth - but who will take the gold medal? My money is on CP but only because he has managed to fit 'denouement' into this thread. Great stuff!

Sorry CP - I had forgotten about your World Cup Victory. We could maybe run something similar for the Euros!

Done & dusted Dale. You should be able to edit your own articles though? Let me know if you cant or need help with it

Two of the top five gain a point, the other three miss out...I SO wish I had gone with my 0-0 Leicester gut instinct! LOL And now to the final game :-)

Still two points between 5 - but it is for claretfromaway to lose now!

Having already given up, I have now predicted a 4-0 Clarets victory against Brizzle next Saturday! Oh the freedom to be a daft bugger!!

Your still 5th Barnsey - or equal second - depends which way you want to look at it!

We will never hear the last of it! roflmao.Surely I must have risen? That sounds mighty dodgy to me although I must admit I don't get too many orgasms watching the Clarets!
